At the apiary

  • QR labels for hives

    Print one label per hive, or a whole apiary's as a PDF. Scan the code with the camera and the hive record opens.

  • Hive record

    Days since the last inspection, queen, brood and honey frames, varroa and colony health. All on one page.

  • Step-by-step inspection

    Colony (strength 1 to 5), queen (seen, eggs, laying, queen cells), brood, resources, health and notes. Each step fits on a phone screen.

  • Treatments

    Product, dose, start and end dates, person responsible and withdrawal period. The app shows the date you can harvest from and warns you 5 days before the end.

  • Varroa counts

    Per hive, through the year, with a chart. Watch above 1.5%, treat above 3%.

  • Varroa estimate from a photo

    Photograph the sample and the app gives an estimate based on colour. It's a guide: to decide on treatment, an alcohol wash is still the reference.

  • Feeding

    Type, quantity and date, per hive or per apiary.

  • Queens and queen rearing

    Year, marking, origin and replacements for each queen. Rearing batches are recorded with their steps and dates.

  • Hive components

    Boxes, supers, floors, roofs and frames you add and remove, with dates. You know what each hive has on.

  • Health checks

    A record of health inspections and disease observations, per apiary.
