The app runs on a local engine (IndexedDB) on your phone. Without signal, every operation enters a persistent queue that survives closing the app. Back on Wi-Fi, it syncs in the background.

Yes. The whole app runs locally on your device through IndexedDB. You can create apiaries, log inspections, treatments and photos completely offline. When you're back on Wi-Fi or 4G, it syncs in the background. No losses, no 'read-only mode'.
On our own server in Portuguese territory, inside the EU. We don't use AWS, Google Cloud or Azure. Encrypted communication (HTTPS) and daily backups managed by us.
Nothing. Usage is free, no credit card and no fixed expiry. We don't have paid plans available today — when we launch the commercial version, active early users get 50% lifetime discount on Pro.
Three concrete differences: (1) the app was designed offline-first from the ground up, not as an add-on; (2) it's in native European Portuguese, with DGAV/SNIRA terminology, not machine translation; (3) data is on a server in Portugal/EU, with CSV/Excel export guaranteed at any time.
No. We don't sell data, don't use it for advertising, and don't train AI models with your information. We only rely on essential technical providers (server, transactional email, payments when applicable) listed in the Privacy Policy.
Yes, as CSV or Excel. Every entity — apiaries, hives, inspections, treatments, harvests, queens — is exportable. Export is an explicit guarantee: we want you to be able to take your data without having to ask us.
Partially. Today, the app stores the necessary fields (SNIRA apiary codes, per-hive counts, treatments with PHI) and exports in CSV/Excel. The formatted DGAV-ready model is in preparation for the coming months. If this is critical for you, write to us when creating your account.
Yes, across devices on the same account. Email invites for other people are in testing — if you manage together with son/spouse/co-worker, write to [email protected] to get priority.
Apivoo was built in Portugal by someone who knows the beekeeping field and wanted a practical tool in Portuguese. There's no marketing team and no investors; it's slow, artisan work, with open development. You can talk to me directly at [email protected].
Your data is yours. CSV/Excel export is always available. In case of discontinuation, we'd communicate at least 90 days in advance to ensure you can take everything with you.
