You log the treatment with the product's withdrawal period in days. The app shows straight away until when you must not harvest honey, in the form and then in the treatment list.

At the apiary, phone in hand

  • Scan the hive's QR code and open its record: last inspection, queen, frames, varroa.
  • Log the inspection step by step: colony strength from 1 to 5, queen seen or not, brood, stores, health and notes.
  • Log the treatment: product, dose and date. The app works out the withdrawal period and the date you can harvest.
  • Log feeding: what, how much and for which hive or apiary.
  • Do the varroa count. Above 1.5% the app flags it; above 3%, treat.
  • Record a new queen, a replacement or its origin.
  • Without signal, everything stays on the phone and syncs when you're back in range.

Apivoo is made by one person, in Portugal, to be practical. There's no marketing team and no investors. If you write, I answer, usually the same day.

What people ask before creating an account.

Does Apivoo work without internet?

Largely, yes. If you lose connection, inspections, treatments and other records are saved on your device as pending and sent automatically when you're back online. What you'd already viewed stays available to read. Some features, such as varroa photo analysis, need a connection.

Can I export everything if I ever want to leave?

Yes, at any time, as JSON and CSV, with inspections, treatments, harvests and finances. You download it yourself, in the app, without asking anyone.

How is Apivoo different from other apps?

It's available in six languages, works out the withdrawal period of your treatments, produces an annual summary as a PDF (Portuguese format, for DGAV) and warns you based on your own records, with no sensors. Your data stays in the European Union and belongs to you.
